MARK - Owner & Senior Hair Director

Hello I’m Mark.  I have worked in the village for 20+ years.  I think im now part of the fixtures and fittings! Started from nothing now I’m all grown up.  I've worked for ice hair team since 2017 and boy times gone fast!  I love my job and I love my clients more!  It takes a certain someone to want to sit in my chair.  

I’m loyal, hardworking and I’m very funny even if I do say so myself!! I always want what’s best for you!

I’m pretty much an all rounder when it comes to hair but I have a soft spot for colouring. 

I recently turned 40 and decided it was time for a new adventure, so I followed my heart and became the new owner of ICE hair team xx

I’m very excited so see where the future takes me!

SOPHIE - Senior Hair Director

I began my hairdressing journey back in 2009, starting out the classic way working Saturday jobs and school holidays sweeping hair and making coffees. From those early days, my passion for hair only grew, and I’ve been perfecting my craft ever since.

In 2014, I became part of the ICE Hair team, where I’ve continued to develop my skills and personal style. I specialise in all things blonde, from lived-in balayage to beautiful highlights and bespoke colour work. While colour is my true love, I also genuinely enjoy cutting, and I’m known for creating effortless, bouncy curls and waves when it comes to styling.

Friendly, professional, and detail-focused, I’m all about helping my clients feel confident, fresh, and their absolute best whether that’s a subtle refresh or a full transformation.

CERI - Senior Hair Director

I've always wanted to be a hairdresser from a young age.  I started out by getting a Saturday job in a salon local to me when I was 14 and stayed there until I was 16.  

At 16 I started my hairdressing apprenticeship in a Cardiff Salon.  I was trained by senior staff members and by ISA Training which is a highly rated independent training company.  It total it took me 2 years to qualify and start working on the salon floor as a stylist.  I've worked my way up over the years to Senior Hair Director, and loved every minute.

ELLIE - Senior Hair Director

I have been hairdressing for over 30 years, with over 20 of those in Llanishen Village.  I've been at ICE since 2011.  It has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and we all work well together as a team. 

Through my career I have built up a loyal clientele.  I would like to thank you all for your continued support.  I would like to say a warm welcome to all my clients new and old.

SARA - Senior Hair Director

HI Guys! I'm Sara.  I have recently returned to ICE and I'm so excited.  I have 21 years experience under my belt, along with 2 awards and was a Semi-Finalist for L'OREAL Talent Spotting in London.

I pride myself on delivering a top quality service and for making my clients feel amazing.  Your hair is your crown and it's my job to make it the best it can be!

MELISSA - Hair Director

I have been working at ICE since the beginning, and in those years i have completed NVQ Level 2 & 3 and my barbering.

I enjoy my job and love making people happy and try my up most best to make each client to feel comfortable. ICE is like a second family i couldn't wish to be working in a better place and to enjoy my work as much as i do, I really enjoy the company of the whole team and i have a good strong clientele.

SHONA - Hair Director

Hi, I'm Shona. I'm a hair director here at ICE and love what I do, big changes or just a little trim. I believe having your hair done is a necessity but that doesn't mean it can't be a relaxing and enjoyable experience, so I will do everything I can to make you feel pampered and new again. I love having a catch up with my clients or if you prefer just some quiet time to yourself let me know! I really do enjoy my work and I think it shows, so I hope to see you soon.

Mollie - Hair Director

Hi everyone! I’m Mollie, I’m 21, and I’m so excited to be starting my journey with the ICE team this February. I’ve been hairdressing since 2022 and have had the biggest passion for it ever since. I’m qualified in all aspects of hair and I’m also a qualified hair extension technician, offering tape, nano, I-tip, and keratin bond extensions.

My absolute favourite services are lived-in, low-maintenance blondes and balayage (although I truly love it all!). I’m definitely a chatty soul, so you’ll never be bored during your appointment. I can’t wait to meet you all!

DAISY - Graduate Hairdresser / Nail Tech

Hi, I'm Daisy and the salon assistant at ICE.  I've been part of the team since 2019 and I've loved every second of it.  The team are so friendly and all of the clients who walk through eh door are amazing!
I'm a happy go lucky girl with a sweeping brush in my hand keeping the salon a clean, safe and tidy environment for you to relax and unwind being pampering by our amazing team of hairdressers.
